Cartooning Incursions That Engage Every Student — From Kindergarten to Year 9

Fully tailored, curriculum-aligned drawing workshops that travel to your school. Available across NSW, VIC, and QLD — in person or live via Zoom.

Toon Creations delivers engaging, structured visual arts incursions to primary and secondary schools. Our cartooning workshops are designed to support the NSW Creative Arts K–6 Syllabus, giving teachers a seamless, ready-to-go lesson experience — and giving students a hands-on creative experience they'll remember.

Whether you're planning a one-off enrichment day, a Book Week celebration, or an ongoing co-curricular program, we have a format to suit.

Every workshop is tailored to your stage of learning, your theme, or your unit of work. We come to you, we bring everything, and we guarantee every student leaves with completed artworks they're proud of.

What's included in every incursion:

  • All drawing materials provided— no setup or supervision stress for teachers

  • Fully facilitated by an experienced, Working With Children checked presenter

  • Workshops tailored to your year group or stage (Junior K–2, Middle 3–6, Senior 7–9) so content is always developmentally appropriate.

  • Students complete up to 4 finished artworks per session

  • Sessions can be themed around your curriculum focus, upcoming events, or student interests

  • Multiple sessions can be run in a single day across different year groups

  • Public liability insurance held — documentation available on request

Choose the format that works for your school:

Single incursion session

A standalone 50–60 minute workshop. Perfect for creative arts days, end-of-term activities, or enrichment programs. We can run multiple sessions back-to-back across multiple classes or different year groups in one visit.

Co-curricular / after school program

A progressive, term-long program that builds drawing skills week by week. Designed to complement the NSW curriculum, supporting creative arts outcomes while also tapping into STEAM principles - encouraging visual thinking, problem solving, and story telling in a hands on imaginative way. Students work toward completing a larger project by the end of term. Art kits available for purchase or materials can be provided each session.

Book Week program

A specially designed workshop that combines illustration techniques with storytelling. Students explore comics, facial expressions, character design, landscapes, and backgrounds — all tied to the magic of books. Every student leaves with their own illustrated character and scene. Perfect for Book Week celebrations across all year levels.

Online via Zoom

Can't host us in person? No problem. We deliver the same engaging, live and interactive workshops online. All students need is paper, pencils, and access to a laptop or projector. Available to schools anywhere in Australia.

What teachers and coordinators say:

"I sought feedback from my team and they all loved the program. The two classes who saw Adam each week said they noticed definite improvement in their artistic abilities. Supervising teachers, myself included, noted that Adam was flexible and had great mannerism and patience with the students."
